The Opportunity

Dataspeed is seeking an Assembly Technician to assist with mechanical assembly, product testing, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Wiring Harness Fabrication
  • Comprehending manufacturing drawings
  • Building harnesses to spec - cutting & stripping wire, terminating wires via crimping or soldering
  • Testing Harness sets using equipment - Diagnosing failures using schematics and performing basic tests using a multimeter
  • Comprehending assembly instructions and drawings
  • Operating manufacturing equipment
  • Assembling components and subassemblies to specification - Following torque specifications, proper use of tools, etc.
  • Testing and validating products using test equipment and computer applications
  • Packaging products
  • Filling out packing slips and product testing forms
